Physiobase's eNews and eMarketing Guidelines
As an international online community, Physiobase.com has adopted a broad email policy that combines both the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and the USA's Anti-Spam Act of 2003.
For most purposes, permission of the e-mail recipient is not required, but if a recipient wants to unsubscribe or opt-out, we will add their name to our unsubscribe list and stop emailing them within 7 working days. Our guidelines also:
- Prohibit fraudulent or deceptive subject lines, headers, return addresses, etc.
- Makes it illegal to send e-mails to e-mail addresses that have been harvested from websites.
- Criminalizes sending sexually oriented e-mails without clear markings.
